We eat, drink and breathe plastic. Microplastics have been found in our blood and tissues. This poses a direct threat to our health. That’s why Plastic Soup Foundation exists: to stop plastic pollution at its source.
Our mission is clear: to prevent harm to human health and the planet from plastics and chemicals, phase out single-use plastics and toxic additives, put health at the heart of policy, and work towards systemic change and the end of big oil.
We don’t believe in quick fixes. We drive structural change through campaigns, science, legal action and political pressure. It’s the only way to protect our health and future generations.
We aim for a world where the plastic crisis is seen as a threat equal to climate change. Where health is no longer sacrificed for profit. And where everyone is protected from irreversible harm. It's time for a Plastic Treaty that protects our health.
